My first memory of riding is when I was three years old. I was a 4-H member and my parents raised quarter horses; during my high school years, I was responsible for starting the colts. I showed in halter class for ten years in AQHA, about fifty shows every year.
I am honored to have accomplished the following:
Won numerous AQHA State Championship and Reserve State Championship awards.
A former member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association.
Qualified four times as one of the top twelve competitors in steer wrestling in the Mid-State and Nebraska State Rodeo Associations.
Trail rode 100 miles over three days and was awarded Rookie of the Year and Horse of the Year at the Florida State Champion Competitive Trail Ride.
A Level 3 graduate of Parellli Natural Horse-manship, having worked with five different top level PNH instructors.
A long time student and assistant to Texan Jack Brainard who is known and recognized nationally for his contributions to the equine industry.
My primary goal is to see my students develop long-lasting relationships with their horses. My passion is to help people discover how easy it is to have fun and be safe with horses.
